Breslau Rally Poland 2025
Chaos, tension, and a whole lot of Dutch power
The 2025 edition of the Breslau Rally was one to remember. Due to international tensions, both organization and security were under heavy pressure this year. No spectators were allowed along the stages, GPS issues caused navigation problems, and the IRIS roadbook system had its glitches leading to some real chaos on the course. In the end, the final stage and closing bivouac had to be cancelled. Still, the overall spirit remained remarkably positive.
What stood out the most was the massive Dutch presence. Nearly half the field carried Dutch license plates! With a shortage of off-road rally events back home, more and more Dutch teams are heading abroad and Breslau has become the place to race.
The tracks this year were tough. Especially around Zagan, where deep sand and difficult terrain made navigation a real challenge. But once the rally moved toward Draskow-Pomoriskie, big smiles returned to the faces of the drivers. The beautiful mix of modern extreme sections and winding forest trails turned every kilometer into a true adventure.
Unfortunately, this was also one of the bivouacs where no spectators were allowed, which took away a bit of the classic Breslau atmosphere. But that didn’t stop the Dutch crews. With humor, teamwork, and pure determination, they turned the rally into a great success.
The event was eventually wrapped up in style with a prize ceremony and a festive closing party. And as we've come to expect, the podium saw a lot of Dutch flags. In nearly every class from enduro and ATV to SSV, car open, small truck, big truck, and even extreme truck small Dutch teams stepped up to receive their trophies. A well-deserved reward for a tough but unforgettable edition of the Breslau Rally.
